HPE B-series Q2S21A Compatible 40Gbps QSFP 40GBASE-BD 850nm/900nm 150m MMF Duplex LC DDM/DOM Optical Transceiver Module HPE B-series Q2S21A compatible optical transceiver is a parallel 40Gbps Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable QSFP BIDI module for use in 40GBASE Ethernet network. QSFP BD provides 41.2Gb/s throughput up to 150 meters over OM4 or 100 meters over OM3 multi-mode fiber (MMF) using 850nm/900nm wavelength. This transceiver is fully compliant with QSFP Multi-Source Agreement (MSA), IEEE 802.3 40GBASE-BD and XLPPI standard. Its electrical interface is MSA compliant 38-pin edge type connector and the optical interface is Duplex LC connector. The full-duplex QSFP transceiver implements 2 lanes of 20Gbps bidirectional signals by different wavelengths in two independent fibers for an aggregate 41.25Gbps data rate. MSA memory map is accessible via 2-wire (TWI/I2C) interface. Our modules are factory pre-programmed for compatibility, perform alternatively to genuine HPE B-series Q2S21A transceivers.
