Offering exceptional comfort, the EPIC™ Specialist is notably lighter than the standard ACH helmet. It also includes a Shock Cord Kit to provide additional stability for Night Vision Devices (NVDs). The EPIC™ ballistic helmet line, developed through innovative collaborations between Avon Protection, Team Wendy, and Ceradyne, combines lightweight, high-performance materials with Team Wendy’s renowned retention and liner systems, ensuring maximum comfort and reliability. Designed to offer optimal head protection against ballistic threats while mitigating blunt force trauma, the EPIC™ Specialist features Ceradyne’s seamless ballistic shell technology. This cutting-edge shell is made using a proprietary Thermoplastic composite molding process tailored for Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene fibers, providing the highest strength-to-weight ratio available in ballistic materials.
