Shioda Gozo Sensei opened, with the agreement of Ueshiba Morihei Sensei, his first Dojo “Yoshinka” in 1995. He was one of the first and one of the best disciples of Ueshiba. Because no Aikido can benefit from exclusivity, each school or style has to contribute to carry on the peaceful message first given by Ueshiba Sensei. The specialty of Yoshinkan is the development of clear and precise techniques that underline and stress the principles. The detailed and substantial techniques, based on established movements, contribute to an enriching and pedagogical approach leading you back to the source of the art.
